British Royal Mint

Has anyone from the U.S. purchased from the Royal Mint? I would like to purchase a proof Britannia and can't find one in the U.S.

Thanks

Re: British Royal Mint

Most of my European and UK coins have been purchased in Canada or off the uk [dot] eBid [dot] net website. I have proof coins and old schillings and various "type" coins though I am not a collector. I have never purchased directly from the Royal Mint though.

My local dealer usually have a few George slaying the dragon sovereigns, but at typically higher premiums than the Canadian or eBid dealers.

Hope this helps.

I've never ordered direct from the Mint but their prices seem higher than buying the coins elsewhere.

Try this guy:

if he doesn't have it he can probably get it for you.

Brits command a serious premium. The only one I know who's coins are marked up even more are the Isle of Man coins.
